Bring Splashes Of Luck To Your Space With The Bouss El Hout Berber Rug
Our luckiest rug! The Bouss El Hout or ‘Fishes’ kisses’ brings splashes of character, serendipity and comfort to your room.
In Berber culture, the fish has been a powerful emblem of protection, prosperity, and luck for thousands of years. It’s been linked to fertility, rebirth, abundance and the cycle of life.
It’s also believed to ward off harmful spirits. To this day Berber’s wear charms featuring fish to protect themselves and their homes from negative energies.
More lightweight and breezier than the rest of the rugs in our collection, this handmade Berber rug has been woven from 100% natural wool on a kelim and finished off with soft cotton tassels. It has then been delicately embroidered by hand by Monia, a Berber craftswoman from Kef in a studio along the Mediterranean coast of Tunisia.
In neutral creamy white tones, with black contrasting detail, it will add a burst of personality to your space — making it perfect for bedrooms, living rooms, kids rooms, or anywhere else in need of some coastal charm.
Its soft, cream neutral tones give it an aura of understated calm that suits a range of interiors — whether Bohemian, Scandinavian, Contemporary, or Minimalist.
Walking on The Bouss El Hout Berber rug feels like dipping your toes into The Med, bringing a bit of sun kissed tranquility right into your home.
